10-day strike of library workers finally ends

A new contract approved after the voting session by the library workers on Thursday has finally led to the reopening of Toronto’s public libraries. The striking session of the public library workers that began on March 19 has officially come to an end and the libraries are due to start functioning from 10:30 a.m. on Friday. The final approval of the deal is yet to be sanctioned by the city council.
